We’re looking for an engineer who’s an expert in console programming. Someone who knows from experience what the certification requirements are for various consoles and how to bring an Unreal project in line with them. Someone who can build the bridge between the goal we want to reach and the product that has to ship, with architecture that brings harmony between the game and the machine it runs on. You love all the principles and techniques that studios use to boost game performance. You’re a mediator, mixing these cutting-edge techniques and well-known strategies to make an ideal solution of console optimization. Your understanding and communication of each platform’s needs will be instrumental in taking our games across the finish line.
Just a heads up - as part of the interview process, we may ask you to take a test to show us your skills and knowledge.
Are you interested in this role but feel as though you don’t have the right experience for it? When compared to individuals of similar backgrounds and skill levels, members of historically marginalized groups are statistically far less likely to apply for a position unless they feel like they meet all of its listed qualifications. As part of our mission to cultivate an inclusive and diverse workplace, we encourage you to apply for the position that excites you, even if your resumé doesn’t perfectly match what you’re looking for. It takes all kinds of flowers to make a flower patch!
Thanks for your interest!
